The Lavender Chiffon® Hibiscus Tree Form (Hibiscus syriacus ‘Notwoodone’) is a very small-sized ornamental flowering tree. It has a remarkable display of flowers that bloom one at a time from early summer to fall. They are large, lilac-pink, double flowers that pop against its handsome green foliage. This tree has an upright habit with dense, bush branching. This cultivar does not produce seeds, so no clean up of dispersed seed messes are necessary.

The Lavender Chiffon® Hibiscus Tree Form by Roderick Ian Woods from Great Shelford, United Kingdom. It was part of a Hibiscus syriacus breed program and was open pollinated by unidentified seedlings of this species. Released into trade in 1997. This tree will do well in any small dull area of your garden or lawn and will be sure to draw attention. It also looks spectacular when planted in big groupings, creating a massive lavender bloom. This tree does well in partial to full sun and does not have a specific soil preference but should be kept moist in dry conditions.
