\nAlthough Japanese maple are monoecious (self-pollinating), they can also cross-pollinate, meaning the Green Japanese Maple seedlings may have some variation in their genetics from tree to tree. This does not mean they will grow into different cultivars, but the general size and shape of the tree may slightly differ. They can also be grown in pots or containers when you first get them. They grow well in partial or full sun and should be watered somewhat regularly. Can withstand many soil types.
